The physical library has many items such as books, DVDs and music scores. However most of our resources are available online via the library webpages. We have a varied collection of resources including online books, articles, newspapers, films, music, statistics, images and much more. Many of these resources are not freely available on the internet and must be accessed via the library webpages in order to get access to them.
On this page you will find links to useful resources, make sure you check out the help and support tab which provides more information on how you can develop your research skills and referencing skills.
Library Search is a discovery tool and the gateway to many of our resources. It allows you to search for items physically in the library and will give you details on where to find them. For most modules you will be given a reading list, this will include details of items that you teacher will want you to read. You can find your reading list on Moodle, or by using the search box below. You can search by the module code or name.
The library provides access to many different databases. Databases are online and searchable collections of different types of resources. For example we have databases that include journal articles, TV and Film, newspapers, images and more. Library Search allows you to search across many of these in one place but some databases aren't searchable via library search so you need to go directly to these.
Below is a full list of our databases, you will notice the pink flag which indicates which databases are not included in library search.
