Can I access Senate House Resources for free?

As members of Royal Holloway University of London, our students and staff have access to the central library of the University of London free of charge.  

Royal Holloway library pays for its students and staff to access these resources to supplement our other subscriptions and print collections, it is especially useful for those researching the fields of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

How to register with Senate House

    3. Complete the form and make a note of the membership number you are given 

    4. This number will be your access to all online resources 

 

 

 

FAQs

Do I need to go to Senate House to complete my registration? 

No, you don't need to physically go to Senate House to complete your registration, once you have your membership number you can use this to access all the online databases. 

 

How long does my membership last?

Your membership will last for 4 months. You can renew within 14 days of the expiry date using the form at: https://senatehouselibrary.libguides.com/remote-registration 

 

What if in the future I want to borrow actual books from Senate House?

Once life has returned to normal, then you will need to complete registration by visiting Senate House with ID. You will then be able to borrow materials from their collection.
