Using the Library

The Library is committed to ensuring that it remains accessible to all users and that students are supported throughout their time at University


Building access

• Ground Floor – Main Building Entrance (Founders Square) level entrance and self-opening doors

Lifts

There are four lifts in the building:

• Three lifts in the Library foyer go to all floors except the mezzanine
• One lift on the second floor by the oversize books goes to the mezzanine level

Emergency Egress - each stairwell is a refuge for wheelchair users or people with mobility difficulties, in an emergency please go to these areas and use the call points to alert security to your presence.


Accessible toilets

• There are accessible toilets on the Ground, First and Second floors.
