Biological Sciences: Where to get help

The Royal Holloway University of London subject guide for the Department of Biological Sciences

How the Library can help you with your studies and assignments

The Library is here to help you. From our LiveChat service, 9am-9pm 7 days a week, to your friendly Library Information Consultant, we are here to support you throughout your studies here at Royal Holloway.

I, as your Library Information Consultant, can help you with finding, evaluating and accessing relevant resources for your assignments and research, as well as providing referencing guidance.

There is also the Library Moodle page, where you will find a range of activities and resources to help you develop key skills such as effective searching, referencing, evaluating and communicating information. This is accessible to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can complete the sections in any order and you can select which resources you want to use based on what skill you want to develop.

I’m an Associate Fellow of Advance HE. I have an MSc in Information Services Management and a BSc in Psychology (from Royal Holloway).
I joined the Library Service here in 2017 and work with staff and students in the School of Life Sciences and the Environment. I can help you learn more about library resources, how to search more effectively, how to reference and evaluate information.
