The Library is committed to ensuring that it remains accessible to all students and that students who might require extra help are supported throughout their time at University.
Once you have been accepted by the College as a future student the Educational Support Office will inform the Library and you will receive a letter from the Customer Services Team Co-ordinator inviting you to a meeting near the beginning of term to discuss your particular needs.
What services are available?
• Enhanced access to LibrarySearch so you can place reservations on available items
• Longer loan periods on all items except short loan and rolling loans (subject to status)
• Cross-site borrowing and returning
• Book fetching service
• Fine concessions during first term (or second/third term if start date is later)

The ESO has some diagnostic software and is able to screen students for any underlying specific learning difficulties.
This software is able to identify your preferred learning style, for example, whether you are a visual, auditory or kinesthetic learner. This report also tells you whether your answers give indicators associated with dyslexia. The report however might also indicate you simply need additional study skills support.
